Lately I’ve been reaching for Youth to the People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask for that extra selfcare. It is definitely a treat for my skin when it feels super dry and dull. I mask at least once to twice a week to keep skin soft and smooth. This mask has had so many good reviews and I’m finally giving it my thoughts.
This overnight mask is packed with rich hydrators that include squalane, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and betaine to plump skin. As well as maqui, vitamin c, and super berries to boost skin complexion. As always, this mask is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and housed in recyclable packaging.
Once my skin has been freshly cleansed and toned in the evening, I apply a thin layer of this mask all over face and neck. On dry patches I pay extra attention in applying a bit more. This is the only moisturizer I put on and I’m done for the night. Has a nice light citrus scent with a beautiful yellow color.
This has the most creamiest whipped texture that melts like butter when it touches skin. The texture may be pretty rich but it does not feel heavy or greasy. It spreads easily on my face and absorbs well. It soaked in better than I thought on dry patches. A little goes a long ways so this jar will last me for a while. I also like it for spot treating.
I have air humidifiers running all night long and this overnight mask truly keeps my skin hydrated and supple all night till morning. I wake up with glowing plump skin and no sign of dry patches. If I want to treat myself a little extra, I will mix a few drops of the Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil with this mask.
With winter weather, it does a great job in hydrating on cold nights. In warmer weather, I do not use as much but will use occasionally for post sunburn. If you have dry or very dry skin, I highly recommend giving this a try. Your skin will feel silky smooth and glowing. It definitely lives up to its promise.
