Youth To The People superfood antioxidant cleanser is a staple in my skincare cleansing routine. I try to keep my skincare routine as clean as possible. A great option for someone who is starting out on a simple skincare routine or getting into green beauty. Who would have thought food for your face can boost your skin’s health. I have normal to dry sensitive skin and this cleanser has been great in removing my makeup without drying my skin.
This cleanser is packed with super antioxidants of vitamins C, E, and K. Plus, green tea which has been known in skincare to have anti-inflammatory properties. They assist with reducing skin issues and increase cell turnover. I love how this brand produces their products in small batches for maximum freshness. full ingredient list here
Love the brand’s story and their efforts on sustainable packaging. I definitely appreciate skincare products more when they come in glass jars or bottles. I feel safe knowing my products are not leaching into plastic containers which can release toxic chemicals. It was nice to have a pump included and the bottles are recyclable. I like to re-purpose them with filling other products into the bottle or as a vase with flowers.
Has a fresh natural herbal scent which smells refreshing. One pump to dry hands and massage to damp face. Nice lightweight gel texture. Creates a nice lather without the bubbles considering sulfates create bubbles and harms skin with dryness. I generally use an oil based cleanser to remove a full face of makeup and follow up with a second cleanse using this cleanser. Otherwise, you have to use this cleanser twice to get all the makeup off. Leaves my skin clean and glowing without experiencing any dryness.
Overall, Youth To The People products are a great green based option if you want simple and clean. If you are not looking for a commitment I highly recommend checking out Sephora for their value sets. There is enough product in these sets to last you a few weeks.
