Sulwhasoo Essential Firming Cream will hydrate and firm up your skin so you can have that beautiful glass skin. If you have been following me on Instagram or blog you know how much I love their First Care Activating Serum as it helps other moisturizing products applied afterwards to absorb even better. I was generously gifted a pr package of this cream by Sulwhasoo. I have been using it for a few months now and want to share how much my skin has been loving it.
As always the packaging is very luxurious. Most of their creams/serums are packaged in beautiful glass jars and bottles. I appreciate the extra mile they go to include a dispensing pump or plastic spatula with their products for keeping the product hygiene friendly. Love the minimal clean aesthetic on the product and outer packaging. It definitely looks pretty sitting on my vanity.
It has a herbal ginseng scent which I enjoy and find to be calming. Formulated with a potent blend of antioxidant-rich goji berries, black beans, and arrowroot. The texture is a gel cream hybrid and has a pretty thick consistency. I apply a few dots to my face and neck after I have applied their First Care Activating Serum. I say a few dots because if you over apply, it will take some time to rub in and absorb. Less is better in this situation if you want the cream to fully absorb into skin.
This cream leaves a nice shiny finish but not sticky and eventually the shine goes away. It instantly plumps, softens facial lines and makes my complexion appear firmer. It can be used both morning or night and perfect for those with dry or mature skin. I like to use this exclusively at night so it has all the time it needs to soak. My skin type is normal to dry sensitive and it drinks this up. Whenever I use this I always wake up to to a bouncy hydrated complexion.
Sulwhasoo products are on the expensive side since they are a luxury Korean skincare brand. You do not necessarily need to include this cream in your routine as there are less expensive alternatives. For me, I care alot about my skin and would invest in a cream if it works well on my skin. I notice Korean skincare work more effectively and gently on my skin versus products from western skincare brands. I am very happy with the Essential Firming Cream and do encourage you try their trial kits or sets to try it out.
