Rebels and Outlaws Cleanse and Release Brush Soap is the perfect start into the new year with clean makeup brushes. This acts as a deep cleanser, oil-based formula breaks down and removes build up in the bristles leaving brushes thoroughly clean without damaging the delicate hairs. Embedded in the soap is a clear quartz to release past energy.
Rebels and Outlaws is an industry favorite in the Pro Makeup Artistry community. Makeup Artist and rebel James Vincent and activist and outlaw Jeremy Meek created the concept behind this deep cleaning soap. 100% vegan. Made in the USA. Available in 2oz, 4oz and 6oz sizes.
Full ingredient list: sage, sea salt, rose oil
I have collected and used many makeup brushes over the years. Some brushes are quite expensive due to the natural hairs and I want to ensure the quality does not diminish by using proper cleaning care. The Cleanse and Release Brush Soap is packaged in a sturdy screw top plastic tub. Since this soap is in solid form, it is easy to use and very travel friendly. Start by wetting the dirty makeup brush with lukewarm water and then swirl it a few times into the soap.
You can build up a nice lather onto a brush mat or by working the soap into hands. Soap is very gentle and breaks down makeup right away. Rinse and repeat until clear. Even brushes with heavy foundation liquids or creams looked so white and did not leave behind any residue or film on the bristles. Once I have reshaped the hairs and let them air dry, they return to it’s soft fluffy form. There is a light pleasant scent on the brushes. I am very impressed with this brush soap!
Make sure you start your new year with clean fresh makeup brushes. Just remember a clean brush means smoother makeup applications, prevents skin irritation, and extends the life and integrity of your brushes. Definitely, one of the best brush soaps I ever used.
