Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush is a lightweight airy powder blush that leaves skin radiant with a perfect flush of color. These have a beautiful soft shimmer finish without being frosty are are easy to blend / build up color intensity. If you love blushes that contain shimmer or have a pearly sheen, then you are going to enjoy these. They’re almost like a hybrid of a blush + highlighter.
This blush formula has a highly pigmented base containing shimmering pearls to give the appearance of radiance and natural looking dimension when the light hits your skin. Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush is packaged in a 0.098 oz plastic compact with mirror. I adore the color. Packaging size is smaller than the standard size blush. Fortunately my blush in the shade Cheer was shipped and arrived intact, however many reviews say this formula is super fragile. Often arrives broken and crumbles when taken on travel. It is a soft baked powder and not a pressed powder, pressing would change the finish & texture and crush the shimmering pearls.
Texture is super smooth and silky, blends and melts right into my skin. It is truly lightweight and leaves a beautiful shimmery sheen on cheeks. Love this pinky warm color. I can easily build up the color if I want more intensity. This did not emphasize skin texture which is good and does not look cakey or powdery unlike other baked highlighters. When I specifically want to wear a shimmer blush, this blush goes on glowy with a luminous highlight.
I can apply this with fingertips or makeup brush. Personally, I feel the color becomes more pigmented throughout the day so I don’t have to worry about reapplying. For extra pop of color, I layer this over Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Liquid Blush to give more depth. There are many more Rare Beauty products that I want to try. If you love a glowy blush with shimmer, this is a beautiful everyday option.
