Natasha Denona – Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette
Natasha Denona is an international makeup artist who has her own luxury line of cosmetics. Her eyeshadow palettes are made with incredible formulas. This caught the attention of those who are not makeup professionals. I do not own any of her eye palettes mostly due to the high price point. When she launched a mini palette at Sephora for $25USD it was an opportunity for me to try the eyeshadow formulas without investing so much money.
What is it
A new size of the existing Sunset palette, featuring five brand-new shades.
Claims
This palette gives you the range to create a whole eye look with two shimmering metallics, two versatile mattes, and one sparkling foiled shade.

The Natasha Denona mini palette comes in a glossy plastic white packaging. The lid is clear so you can see the shades. The pans feel pretty sturdy and do not fall out. Aesthetically clean looking but not luxurious in my opinion. Mini palette is pretty small, almost like the size of a little ruler. It definitely makes it travel friendly.
In terms of value, I am trying out a great product in a travel size but there are other palettes on the market with similar price point offering more product per pan and more shades.
There are five warm shades in this mini as it was inspired by the original Sunset palette. Shades are beautiful and pigmented. Guava and Dirty Mars are matte shades. They are great for outer-v, crease, lining your lash line. Apollo, Sun Beam, Halo are metallic shades. They give a very nice sheen on the lids. Minor fallouts on the metallics. All of the shades blend well and complimented each other. I found it quite beautiful to use the metallic shades on their own, individually.
Overall, the quality of the Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette shades are very good. They have a great color payoff and were long lasting on my lids without creasing. All of the shades were easy to blend out and not look all muddled. I liked the metallic shades the most. On my lazy days, I use a single metallic shade on my lids. It’s enough to stand alone without adding anything else to the eye.
These warm shades remind me of Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette. If you own a number of these shades already, you can pass on it. If you are looking for travel friendly convenience and don’t have these shades or a reason to try Natasha Denona this might be an opportunity worth trying. I’m pleased with my purchase and hope she creates more mini collections.
