Moroccanoil Treatment is one of several hair oils that I typically use on the weekends when I need to do an deep soaking treatment. I’ve heard good things about Moroccanoil Treatment and how it has transformed people’s hair. For myself, it has made my hair softer and more manageable. I use the small bottle as it lasts for a long time considering I use this on weekends and I have other hair oils during the weekdays.

The Moroccanoil brand is most recognizable by its iconic turquoise box with the orange M logo on the front. This hair oil is known to be packaged in a dark brown glass bottle. The bottle has a bit of weight to it and definitely can shatter if you drop it on the floor. Thankfully, I have not dropped my bottle.
This hair oil has a sweet citrus scent and smells pretty nice. For those who have fragrance sensitivities, this could be little strong to handle. It has a thick consistency but feels very lightweight. I use a penny size amount and warm it up in the palms of my hands before smoothing it on the ends of my hair. I make sure to brush thru evenly to distribute the product.
Depending on my mood, I use it on either damp hair or dry hair. I usually air dry but if I am in a rush I will use a hair dryer. It leaves my hair feeling soft, silky, and shiney. This helped reduced the frizziness where my hair has shorter layers. A little goes a long way with this oil, so using a penny size amount on the ends of my hair is just right. If I use anymore, my hair will feel weighed down and greasy.
It is also great for styling, adding a few dabs to those baby hairs around the hairline and taming flyaways. My hair is bleached and colored and I use hot tools on it almost daily so I always need to include hair oils to keep them healthy. The Moroccanoil Treatment is great for healing damaged hair or make your hair healthier. It is on the pricey side but you don’t need to add much.
