I’ve been using the Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion for years and have been a big fan of this brand on several of their haircare products. All of their products smell so good including this smoothing lotion. I do like the scent in my hair and people always tell me I smell so good. When I don’t use this my hair noticeably looks dry and frizzy.

Key ingredients include: argan oil, argan butter, vitamin e, and essential fatty acids. Full list: AQUA/WATER/EAU, CYCLOMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERIN, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, POLYQUATERNIUM-70, POLYQUATERNIUM 11, STEARETH-2, ARGANIA SPINOSA (ARGAN) KERNEL OIL, TILIA TOMENTOSA BUD EXTRACT, DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL, OLETH-10, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL, HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL, GLYCERYL STEARATE, CHLORPHENESIN, CITRIC ACID, SODIUM BENZOATE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, CI 26100 (RED 17), CI 47000 (YELLOW 11), EUGENOL, ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE, LINALOOL, HYDROXYISOHEXYL 3-CYCLOHEXENE CARBOXALDEHYDE, BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAL. MOSL01

Note: This is strongly scented so be careful for those with fragrance sensitivities. I actually love the scent so it doesn’t bother me. I have to say after an entire work day I can still smell it in my hair when I get home.

After I shower I apply a dime size amount to slightly damp hair from middle to the ends of hair and let it air dry. It keeps the frizz and static at bay. Makes my hair look healthy, shiny, and smell amazing. It’s even more noticeably smoother after a blow dry. I love the soft creamy texture of this cream and it’s easy to squeeze from the tube.

It doesn’t make my hair feel heavy or oily. Use a small amount of product first and then add more if needed. If you use too much at once your hair can feel greasy or a bit weighed down. I find that it works the best on slightly damp hair as the cream absorbs better on wet hair as it locks in all the moisture.

This is great for daily touch ups too. I have lots of baby hairs that fall down around my face and a little dab of this takes care of it since it has a bit of hold. When I put my hair up in a bun, this smooths down the flyaways. Tames the frizz much better than their oil treatment on several days of unwashed hair.

This product is slightly pricey but does a really good job at smoothing hair like it says. I guarantee someone will say you smell good if you use this. It comes in a mini size tube or standard size pump bottle. I highly recommend!
