Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream is a multi tasking cream that smooths frizz, hydrates, adds shine, and provides a soft hold that looks and feels natural. I’ve been a long time fan of this product and their hair oils because argan oil has antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and vitamin E to help hydrate and soften hair.
This product is a leave-in cream and I personally say it is best used on damp hair just before blow drying or air dry. Argan oil helps helps keep your follicles free from damage and breakage while protecting hair from everyday stressors. The soft hold styling gives hair some manageability in an all in one product without having the need to add an additional product.
Full ingredient list: Water, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Behentrimonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Caprylyl Glycol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Chlorphenesin, Citric Acid, CI 15985 (Yellow 6), Eugenol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone.
Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream is packaged in a 10.2 oz/ 300 mL dark plastic bottle with pump dispenser. I have not has any issues with the pump and you can control how much product that is being dispensed. It smells really good and has the same scent as with the rest of the Moroccanoil hair care line. You can use this on it’s own or mix a few drops of Moroccanoil Treatment for extra conditioning.
My hair is long and gets super poofy with frizz when it is dry. This cream has a very soft light creamy consistency that just melts and glides into my hair with ease. I typically use 2 pumps of this on damp hair and run it through with my hands mid-length to ends. After a blow dry, it leaves everything looking super smooth, hydrated feeling, and glossy looking. Hair feels incredibly soft and none of that crunchy stuff.
Hair then gets rolled up in a satin roller for overnight curls. In the morning when I take the roller out, my hair has the most beautiful bouncy looking curls. No additional product is needed, I simply use a large tooth comb to comb through once. This cream does a fantastic job at holding the curls and as the curls start to loosen up during the day they are still intact. If your hair needs some assistance I highly recommend.
