This device went viral all over Tiktok and social media last year with many celebrities in the USA and South Korea swearing their obsession. I was fortunate to purchase this last year during Thanksgiving Black Friday sale. I previously read all the reviews and liked that it was a hand held device, easy to use, and USB rechargeable. A device that was not going to take up a ton of my time and uncomplicated functions. Comes in black or pink styles.
Medicube is a South Korean skincare brand that develops skincare and innovative skincare devices. The Age-R Booster Pro is becoming my favorite device of all the devices I own. With each use, I notice visible improvements to skin texture, fine lines, radiance, pore care, & facial contouring. This increases skincare product absorption when used together with device. It has a skin contact sensor that emits LED light only when it touches the skin.
Age-R Booster Pro features 4 easy modes, each accompanied by it’s own sonic vibration pattern and different colored LED indicator lights. The vibration intensity level for each mode can be adjusted to your preference (from one being lowest, five the strongest). A cool feature is that this device has an automatic self timer and speaks to you – voice will let you know what mode you are using, vibration level, and does a count down once you’ve started treatment. All modes can be used 1-3x daily, except Air Shot mode 1-2x per week.

Booster mode (Electroporation) – Helps absorb active ingredients and delivers them while boosting radiance. Utilizes electroporation more stable utilization of electroporation, creating temporary fine holes for the maximized absorption of active ingredients.
MC Mode (Microcurrent) – Helps to volumize facial lines, microcurrent targets the areas around the eyes, smile lines, and mouth.
Derma Shot Mode (EMS) – stimulates sagging skin and care for muscles to create a firmer facial contour Facial contour care by applying mid-frequency EMS optimized for facial muscles to stimulate muscles that have lost elasticity.
Air Shot Mode (Electric needles) – Helps improve pore elasticity by creating non-damaging passageways on the skin layer with electric needles. Electric needle technology forms micro holes and improves pore elasticity.
Customized Vibration Care – Different vibration patterns for each mode provide a more professional and effective care.
Radiance boosting vibration : Vibrations are designed to help the skincare product absorb deeply.
Line smoothing vibration : Vibrations are synchronized with the lifting motion.
Facial contour vibration : Vibrations are suitable for muscle care.
Pore elasticity vibration : Vibrations are intended for comprehensive pore care.
I have used all four modes and enjoy them all. My favorite is the Booster mode which helps boost whatever serum or moisturizer that is on my skin to sink in deeper and absorb better. After 5 minutes I cannot believe how plump and glowy skin looks. I have used their Medicube Collagen Glow Booster Milk Serum & Collagen Jelly Cream with this device which was pretty good (will share in a separate review). Second fave is Air Shot which reduces texture, pimple size and bumps the next day. This has a zapping feel but not painful nor uncomfortable.
I can use this for as little as 1 minute and/or no more than 10 minutes. After completing one mode, I can easily switch to use another mode to further treatment. When treatment is completed, device turns off automatically. The USB charge lasts for a long time and screen displays the battery level so you will never over charge the device. I use a damp micro cloth to gently wipe the device head clean after use. I received a free cap that protects the head with my purchase but in general it does not come with a protector.
Overall, with consistent use my skin feels more toned and firm, less dry patches and texture, and skin appears more glowy. I love this device! I guess people on social media were right about this device too. If you want to stop paying so much money getting facials with your aesthetician, I highly recommend getting this, your skin and wallet will thank you later.
