Lancer The Method: Polish is a stand out favorite among several of my facial exfoliators. I have sensitive skin so I typically use an exfoliator that is mild and not too abrasive. I first discovered this a few years ago when I used their 4-piece anti-aging skincare kit which included the Polish. I was absolutely blown away as it felt completely different from my other exfoliators. It is really expensive so only buy this during a Sephora VIB sale.

The Lancer Method was developed by Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr Lancer. This Polish is actually part of of 3-step skincare treatment that claims to dramatically improves the appearance of fine lines, texture, discoloration, and pore size. All of the products have a minimal aesthetic. Love the squeeze tube so I can control how much I need while keeping the product hygienic. I keep this in the shower and use it every other day.
This has a gritty texture. The granules are very fine and has a light refreshing scent. The key to using this is squeeze out a dime size amount of product and apply to slightly damp face. Note I said damp not drenched, otherwise the product will simply just melt away with the water. Don’t use this over broken skin as it will sting like crazy.
With light pressure gently massage in circular motions no more than 60 seconds. If you have sensitive skin like me, any longer you might feel a warm sensation. If you feel a bit of resistance like its too dry, add a few drops of water to face to give it a bit of slip. It has the feeling as though I am massaging finely milled beach sand on my face.
After a good rinse, my skin feels soft and smooth like a baby’s bum. Not kidding! It is literally a game changer in changing the texture of my skin. My skincare moisturizing products absorb so much better, plus my foundation application lays down flawlessly! Pores are squeaky clean. Love how it softens facial fine lines. I also use this on my neck and chest so don’t forget those areas.
This tube lasts me for nearly a year for using just a dime size amount or less. It is very pricey but definitely worth the investment as I do see results. As mentioned before, the best time for a deal is during the Sephora VIB sale. This is my favorite exfoliator when I need something a bit more aggressive. I highly recommend.
