The Kopari Coconut Melt is my go to skincare for everything. This coconut oil is a must have staple in my beauty routine. If you are not using coconut oil, you really should include it your routine. I didn’t used to use coconut oil thinking that it was too greasy and was not aware of any skincare benefits associated with its use. In the last few years I’ve been using coconut oil more and more because I educated myself and discovered the number of ways my skin could benefit from it.

Some people might think what’s so special with Kopari Coconut Melt vs any other organic coconut oil that you get at the grocery store. Well, not all coconut oil are created equal. Kopari’s coconut oil is sustainably sourced from small family farms in the Philippines and made from fresh, virgin, and 100 percent organic coconuts. The processing is cold pressed resulting in unrefined coconut oil.

The quality, texture, absorption, and aroma is not like any other coconut oil that I have used from other beauty brands and ones from organic super markets. Kopari Coconut Melt is vegan, hypoallergenic, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and 100% organic. When I first started using this I tried the travel size because I couldn’t justify paying so much for coconut oil. I loved it so much that I eventually upgraded to using the full size jar.

My jar of Kopari’s Coconut Melt has never changed colors, never gone rancid and never had any weird texture. For the most part, Kopari’s coconut oil remains mostly is solid form even in my warm bathroom whereas other coconut oils I’ve tried don’t stay in solid form. Because Kopari’s coconut oil is in solid form I use a small spoon to break down the solid. Then put a small scoop in my palm and put both hands together for 20 seconds so the oil melts down before slathering onto my skin.

From time to time I get a few gritty bits that don’t melt down but it does not bother me. For the most part, it is easy to get out of the tub, melts down nicely, and absorbs nicely into my skin. It does not leave a greasy film and no mess on my silk pillows and sheets. I am obsessed with the coconut aroma! I love using this at night so my skin has time to soak it in. During the day, I use the travel size if I am feeling a bit dry. It’s great for hydrating my skin, calms eczema patches, healing scars, reduces inflammation if I have a cut or rash, and I put a bit on the dry ends of my hair as a mask.

The Kopari Coconut Melt is available at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Sephora | $28 USD/5.1 oz
