If you are a fan of using toners in your skincare routine, the Klairs Supple Preparation Toner is definitely one you should include. This toner is a re-formulated version of their K-beauty cult favorite original toner minus the fragrance and essential oils which typically irritate those with reactive sensitive skin. A great option without sacrificing the same skincare benefits.

Key ingredients include aloe barbadensis leaf extract, licorice root extract, and centella asiatica extract. These help to tighten pores, removes excess oils and dirt, calms skin, and delivers hydration. Without the fragrance and essential oils, it can absorb into skin faster.

Full ingredient list:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Dimethyl Sulfone, Betaine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Natto Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polyquaternium-51, Chlorphenesin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Panthenol, Arginine, Luffa Cylindrica Fruit/Leaf/Stem Extract, Beta-Glucan, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Copper Tripeptide-1

I like the see thru transparent bottle packaging. Minimalistic look with an small opening at top for dispensing. Texture is light weight and has a viscous consistency, so it’s a bit thicker than water. It’s quite runny making it very easy to apply to skin. You can use cotton pads for application but I generally pour this directly into my hands and pat into skin.

I really enjoy the simple formulation of this toner and that it does not irritate my sensitive skin. The no-frills gives me confidence that I have a product that is alcohol free. It hydrates skin adequately and is lightweight enough for layering. I find applying two layers is satisfactory for hydration. Calms and balances out my pH level. Makes my serums and moisturizers sink in better.

Overall, this toner is a great option if you have sensitive skin or need a simple toner on angry inflamed skin. The lightweight consistency is perfect for warm weather without being heavy and if you are dealing with cold weather this layers well. I highly recommend adding this toner to your skincare routine or toner collection because you never know when you need a simple toner.
