Klairs is one of my favorite Korean beauty brands. They are eco-friendly, create clean products that do not contain parabens, alcohol, fragrances, and no animal testing. With a simple skincare collection that targets people who have sensitive skin. Their Midnight Blue Calming Cream was my first ever purchase and introduction to the brand and had me hooked on the effectiveness without a laundry list of super star ingredients. I’ve been using the Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop since last year which I purchased from Wishtrend so this review is really beyond overdue.

For those of you who have dry, dehydrated, irritated, or experiencing early signs of aging, the Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is going to your new BFF. Our skin gradually ages and loses elasticity over time even if they are not visible to the naked eye. The very reason why I began using this serum. I may not see wrinkles now but atleast I am slowing down the aging process. This has helped my skin feel more hydrated and even out skin tone as well.
With only 10 ingredients, I am getting the highest level of efficacy. The top two ingredients are peptides: EGF (sh-Oligopeptide-1) and bFGF (sh-Polypeptide-1) . These help keep our skin firm and smooth. The blue tint is from a ingredient called guaiazulene, that repairs and calms skin fast. In addition, blueberry extract provides skin with antioxidants. When my skin is in need of repair, I use this and feel assured my skin is getting replenished without any worries of breakouts or irritations.
Serum comes in a little dark brown glass bottle with a glass dropper. You have to keep this in a cool place away from sunlight. The texture of the serum is very thin like water and has no fragrance. It is almost like spreading water on my face and absorbs fairly quickly. Whether it was dryness or skin irritation this serum works really fast to plump skin. Personally, the best way to apply this is to dispense the serum from the dropper onto face. Before it rolls down your face have your other hand already on your face to spread it. It does take a little practice in getting used to and will get easier with time.
Overall, my skin loves the Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop. I find products that contain a short list of ingredients work better on my skin and I am less prone to skin sensitivities. The texture of my skin feels so smooth every time I use it and it heals pretty fast. I did not feel any firming or tightening on my skin but serum is meant to be used an preventative measure in slowing down aging skin. The bottle is quite small for $30USD but I am getting 10 core ingredients in high concentration which I think is a good value. If I use this everyday for a month, that’s about half a bottle gone. This serum is a savior for my skin and will continue to repurchase!
