Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter is packaged in a 20 g / 0.7 oz screw-on cap slim squeeze tube. Most eye creams come in a jar but I actually prefer a packaging where I can squeeze the product out without putting my fingers or using a separate spatula. Product stays clean and fresh with less exposure to open air. I’m all for user friendly and easy application.
First off there is no added fragrance and unscented when I smelled it. Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter has a lightweight viscosity and soft cream-like buttery texture. Three tiny dots in the undereye area squeezed directly from the tube is the perfect amount needed. This is silicone free and literally melts and absorbs quickly into skin effortlessly. I simply tap the product in until it disappears.
Let me tell you about my under eye condition. My skin leans on the dry side and I do not have milia. I’m always looking for rich nourishing eye creams for my evening use to hydrate and improve elasticity. Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter provides the much needed nourishment and plumping thanks to the peptides I’m looking for without making my skin feel heavy or greasy nor make my eyes water. It instantly perks up the skin and stays that way till I wake up in the morning.
Klairs has a gel version of this which I use in the morning but if my skin is very dry I’ll use the eye butter instead. Another tip: I use this around the folds of the nose and smile lines for softening lines. I recommend the eye butter for anyone who is looking for a nourishing eye cream that does not cause milia and wants to plump up fine lines and wrinkles.
