KAJA moon crystal sparkling eye pigments are such a lifesaver in my makeup routine. Especially, on days when I am in a rush and cannot spend a whole lot of time on my face. This will quickly give my bare lids a nice wash of color or dot the inner corners of my eyes for a bit of brightening. I have two of the eight shades in this collection, 01 goddess a shimmering bronze and 02 luminary shimmering champagne. My everyday casual shades.

At first glance, the tube is only half filled. This product weighs in at 0.29oz/$16USD, however when I compared this to other cream eyeshadows brands that come in a pot or tube, you are getting so much more product with the moon crystal and at a much lesser price. The KAJA website states this tube needs to be shaken up prior to using. This might explain why there is extra room in the tube to allow the jelly product to mix together.

Overall, I like the packaging and the shaking does not bother me. I did not see any separation in the product itself. They are portable and easy to travel with. The slim tip makes it easy to squeeze out just the right amount of product. There is no scent that I could detect. Has a jelly like texture that glides over skin smoothly and easily with my fingers. You can use a brush with this but fingers are the easiest.

I squeeze a tiny dot for each eye and blend out. I’ve noticed this product dries quickly so don’t use too much on your eyes in one go. This gives my eyes some metallic shimmer without the feeling that I have makeup on. The colors are highly pigmented so if I want to go bold these are buildable. Just make sure let it dry down a bit before you apply the next layer.

Dries down to powder finish, no fall outs, and no chunky glitters. When I run my fingers over my lids, my skin feels smooth. These work well alone on the lids or as a topper over other eyeshadows. They last all day without sliding off my eyes. I had worn these on my summer vacation in Peru and let me tell you, in that hot humid weather these did not budge while the rest of my body was sweating like crazy. I would like to try more shades.

KAJA moon crystal sparkling eye pigment is available at Sephora.
