Juno & Co. gifted me their Clean 10 Cleansing Balm and Clarifying Cleansing Powder. This cleansing duo will complete any double cleanse routine or you can use them separately. They are a California based brand that focuses on superfood clean skincare and committed on being sustainable thru their products and packaging.
Clean 10 Cleansing Balm is oiled based and formulated with just 10 ingredients. It is truly a fuss-free balm that gets the job done is all that I care about. The key ingredient is Japanese Barley Magic which delivers vitamins and antioxidants to skin. This has a citrus uplifting scent and the texture is almost sherbert like. It practically melts as soon as it touches skin. Has a lot of slip to it as it melts away makeup, waterproof eyeliner, and SPF. You can wipe it off with a warm damp towel or add a little bit of water to emulsify into milky texture. Does not dry skin and effectively removes all traces of makeup.
Clarifying Cleansing Powder is very similar to other dry cleansing powders which I will not name drop. This too only has 10 ingredients. Star ingredients include rice lees extract, papaya enzyme, rice powder, and hyaluronic acid. I like how you can adjust the consistency of the foam depending on how much water to add to it. The exfoliation is gentle, light, and non-drying. It immediately brightens up dull skin and gives it a healthy glow. The powder form makes it very convenient to travel especially if you’re like me and only fly with one carry-one suitcase (one less thing via TSA precheck).
They also tossed in the Cleansing Cookie, an oversized reusable makeup remover pad that helps to rub off all those last bits of mascara on eyes, any left over cleanser on skin, and gently rubs away dead skin.
