I’M FROM RICE TONER

The I’m From Rice Toner is perfect for targeting dryness, hydration, and anti-aging care. This K-beauty brand has been on my wish list forever to try and thanks to Wishtrend I was finally able to experience this. I remember when I was a little girl, whenever I had skin irritations or sunburns my mom would give me the water that she used to rinse rice with when cooking dinner. Applying that to the skin helped to calm, soothe, and moisturize the area. It’s an old remedy I still use even till this day so I trust the benefits of rice.

I personally choose toners that are hydrating, calming, brightening, and anti-wrinkle. This toner is made from 77.78 % pure Yeoju rice exact, that’s highly concentrated in delivering all that goodness into skin. There is no fragrance or alcohol in this which is a big selling point for me.

Rice extract, Methylpropanediol, Triethylhexanoin, Hydrogenated poly (C6-14 olefin), Niacinamide, Pentylene glycol, Common Purslane extract, Rice bran extract, Japanese elm bark extract, Amaranthus caudatus seed extract, Hydrogenated lecithin, Distilled water, Polyglyceryl-10-myristate, Butylene glycol, Adenosine, Cellulose gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol

I like the minimalistic packaging. This is packaged in a hard plastic bottle but it used to be in a heavy weighted glass bottle. I hope the brand goes back to using glass instead. You have to shake the bottle very well before each use. This toner is separated with a watery layer at the top and thicker layer near bottom of bottle.

It has a watery consistency that is milky in color but applies clear on skin. I pour this directly onto skin instead of cotton pads and gently pat in the toner. Due to the watery consistency it is very fast absorbing and instantly plumps up my skin. I was impressed at how soft and hydrating this felt. My complexion looked a bit brighter. This toner feels so good that I get greedy and apply two layers before moving onto the rest of my skincare routine.

Overall, this toner is light and calming. Other products layered well on top of it. If you have dry sensitive skin like me you will enjoy this. I like to include a toner in my routine as it helps to re-balance pH and prep skin for other products to absorb better, however you could skip this step and just go right into your serums and moisturizers.
