I am a big fan of using skincare that contain rice. It has been used in Asian skincare for 1000 years, it’s no wonder many Asian women have porcelain flawless skin with barely any wrinkles. I like that the cream is packaged in a clear glass jar with twist lid. No spatula is included so I need to use clean fingers to dip or grab some spatulas from my current stash. There is no scent or fragrance in this which is great. At first glance, this cream looks super thick and rich. It actually has a water-cream texture which feels very light and hydrating. Has a fluffy feel as I spread onto face.
My winter dry skin practically drinks this up and instantly plumps. I do not feel any calming effect but it has improved uneven texture thanks to the deep nourishment. Leaves my skin soft, dewy fresh, and appearance of brighter complexion. It does give me that “glass skin” look right after application and dries down semi-dewy.
A little bit of product goes a long ways so this jar will last for a while. I can use it in the AM or PM, but prefer using it in the evening so it can penetrate deep into my skin while I sleep. I have sensitive skin and this has not irritated or broken my skin out.
Each time I use this I wake up to glowing healthy looking skin. I like how the I’m From Rice Cream is not heavy or greasy yet provides enough moisture to keep skin hydrated during cold weather months. This is definitely one of my winter go to moisturizers.
