I’m From Fig Boosting Essence is naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, peptides, and amino acids. These antioxidants help target anti-aging, fine lines and wrinkles, dryness, elasticity, dark spots, and soothes irritated skin. Who knew figs could do this much as a skincare ingredient.
I absolutely love using essences in my skincare routine. I generally apply this after a toner and before applying serum. Essences like the Fig Boosting Essence typically are light weight with a watery-texture and contain less concentrated active ingredients that you would find in serums. It adds an extra layer of hydration and helps other skincare applied afterwards to absorb better.
Key ingredients in this essence include: 62.7% Fig Extract (rich in antioxidants), Fructooligosaccharides (prebiotics), and Betaine Salicylate (BHA alternative). All of these will help to hydrate, soothe, repair, and exfoliate skin barrier. Vegan. Cruelty-free. Free of artificial coloring, fragrances, dyes, silicones, mineral oil.

It is package in a glass bottle which is environmentally friendly. The water-like consistency is slightly viscous and absorbs quickly into skin. I apply this with my hands and pat it on. Those with dry skin like me will enjoy this essence. There is no fragrance and alcohol which is even better for my sensitive skin. Feels so lightweight that I can easily apply two layers for extra hydration.
Hydrates my skin instantly and makes it look healthy. It leaves a nice dewy finish that is not sticky or shiny. I like that it is very moisturizing and sits well under makeup. In the evening, I will apply a layer of serum and moisturizer on top to seal it all in while I sleep. By morning, skin feels super refreshed, supple, and smooth.
This essence has become another favorite in the Kbeauty community and in my skincare routine. It delivers a boost of hydration as promised. I also felt my serums and moisturizers absorbed so much better when which helped with skin being texture free. If you use hydrating essences, I recommend including this to your routine.
