Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint smooths and blurs imperfections while boosting skin hydration leaving you with a beautiful dewy glow that feels and looks like you have no makeup on. Most hydrating skin tints feel thick and heavy but this surprisingly does not make me look like I am wearing makeup. It actually feels super lightweight and very natural looking on skin.
During wear time, this formula boosts moisture levels by 52% keeping your skin looking dewy and hydrated, non-comedogenic, vegan, cruelty-free, and comes in 18 shades. Looking thru the ingredient list it appears to be free of silicones & dimethicones.

Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint is packaged in a 1.2 oz / 35 ml squeeze tube. Something about a basic tube that isn’t bulky just appeals to me. It’s nice that is is unscented and no added perfumes. This has a lotion like medium texture which makes the application to skin super easy. Apply with fingers, brushes, or sponge. I prefer a clean dry makeup sponge. For reference I am shade 5 (light with warm under tone).
Feels very lightweight and sheer but impressed at how much it covered redness and uneven skin tone with just very little product. You can build up the coverage but if you have prominent blemishes you may need concealer underneath it. This formula melts into skin effortlessly and I could feel the hydration plumping and smoothing. I love that it s water-based, delivers a dewy glowy finish during application and dries down to a natural slightly dewy finish on my skin.
I have dry sensitive skin and the hydration filled in fine lines and crevices around the nose & mouth area. I wore this a lot over the summer and it held up to heat pretty well and only minor touch ups at mid-afternoon or after eating. Nothing a dry sponge with a few pats over the skin can’t fix. A lightweight good alternative to foundation in my opinion. Coverage lasted all day for the most part.
This skin tint is a bit pricey but it’s worth the investment if you are looking for a hydrating product that has enough coverage to blur and even out skin tone. Formula is very easy to apply when you just want to spend a few minutes on your face and be on your way.
