Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum is a life savior when my skin was freaking out during quarantine even though I was not wearing makeup. It could have been wearing a face mask too long, stress, anxiety, diet, lack of sleep, who knows it just happens from time to time. A while back I was generously gifted a pr package of this serum by Good Molecules and was perfect timing to use during this situation.

I’ve already tried several products from their skincare line and have been quite impressed with this brand. The Niacinamide Serum contains a whopping 10% Niacinamide (vitamin B3) and listed second on the ingredient list. Water is listed first as this is a water-based serum that is lightweight and easily absorbs into skin. Skincare benefits include even skin, minimized pores, brighter complexion, strengthen skin barrier, and reduces moisture loss.

I appreciate the use of glass packaging versus plastic bottles. The glass dropper has a bit of an issue sucking up the serum. I normally squeeze the dropper first while it is outside of the bottle and once I insert into bottle, release the squeeze so the product can suck up the serum. Hopefully the dropper or the bottle needs a bit of rework.

There is no fragrance or scent to the serum. It has a gel like consistency which absorbs into skin right away and does not leave face sticky. You can use this daily in the am/pm. It does not pill under makeup. I generally use in the pm when my face is going thru some uneven texture issues. I use a few times a week till the texture goes away. My skin has felt smoother, softer, brighter, and much more hydrated in the areas where I had textured skin. I do not have large pores to begin with so I didn’t really notice any changes there.

If you are a fan of Niacinamide I highly recommend this serum considering it contains 10% Niacinamide. It is well priced and very affordable. For the same price as The Ordinary Niacinamide which is also very affordable, I find that it is not as hydrating as the Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum from my personal experience.
