Glossier Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color is a gel cream bronzer that delivers a sheer natural warmth to the skin where ever you need definition, contouring, or bronzing without looking overly sculpted. It uses blurring powder pigments in the formula to ensure a soft, diffused finish, without accentuating pores and fine lines or make your makeup look patchy. The shade variations in their lineup are neutral tones – not too cool or too warm.
It contains collagen, which retains water so skin visibly looks fresh and dewy. The blurring powder pigments do not give harsh lines, as you blend out they look soft and diffused. I didn’t notice any perfume in the ingredient list and did not smell any fragrance. It is cruelty-free. Shades include: Sail (a light neutral tan), Dune (a golden tan), Swept (a medium neutral tan), Coast (a golden bronze), and Drift (a deep neutral bronze).
Full ingredient list: Water/Aqua/Eau, Cyclopentasiloxane, Methyl Trimethicone, Mica, Butylene Glycol, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Glycerin, Vinyl Dimethicone/Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Sorbitan Isostearate, Soluble Collagen, Ethylhexylglycerin, Magnesium Sulfate, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Disodium EDTA, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Tocopherol, Pentylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Aluminum Hydroxide, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).
Glossier Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color – Gel Bronzer is packaged in a 0.33 fl oz paint squeeze tube inspired packaging. I’m all for anything makeup or skincare that comes in a tube because it makes the product easily accessible and hygenic. This formula surprisingly feels like a lightweight gel moisturizer. Application is finger friendly indeed while you can blend out using fingers, beauty sponge, or makeup brush. I prefer fingers and beauty sponge to blend.
My skin tone is on the light side and I specially used the shade Swept (a medium neutral tan) to give me a little more definition. Knowing this formula is thin and leaned on the sheer side, it turned out to be the perfect color without looking orange, gray or too dark. It definitely added more dimension to my face and cheeks overall. Melts into my skin easily and with just a few taps the color was softly diffused out.
I feel this consistency pairs well with liquid or cream based foundations or on bare skin. It is fuss free and very easy to apply. A tiny dot here and there is all you need for gentle natural definition so this tube is going to last for a very long time which is great. Color lasted all day at work or out and about on the weekend and did not melt or fade away. I have normal to dry sensitive skin and I did not experience any irritation.
I can’t wait to use this more during the summer heat when I want to go minimal with makeup. The small packaging is perfectly travel friendly when I go on vacation or just throwing into my daily purse or backpack. If you are looking to add a natural healthy looking definition to your skin with an easy application, I recommend giving this gel bronzer a try. I hope Glossier can expand the shade range in this collection.
