As much as I love skincare and makeup, I am still on the journey to finding that perfect natural haircare line. I am becoming more aware of harsh toxic ingredients and finding products that contain quality ingredients that help nourish in a clean way. Gloss Moderne kindly sent me one of their hair mask to try out, Clean Luxury Masque. Gloss Moderne, is a clean luxury sulfate free, paraben free, cruelty free, vegan haircare line designed for everyone. I have bleached colored treated hair and I alternate going from blonde to silver gray, so my poor hair goes through alot. I am so excited to see how my hair responds to this mask.

The packaging is on point – clean minimalist aesthetic. Something about a black & white packaging makes it feel luxurious and high end.
It smells AMAZING! I love the scent of coconuts. Reminds me of being out in the sun and ocean. The texture of the mask is a hybrid of a cream-gel. It’s very creamy with a bit of weight. Due to the creamy texture, it spreads easily on hair. This product is pretty concentrated so I only need a small amount.
This can be used on dry or wet hair. You can also leave it in for 5min or overnight with a hair cap over your head. I have really long hair so I used this sparingly on the lower half of my hair focusing on strands of hair where it was dry and frizzy. My hair completely soaked up all of the masque. I kept it in for 30 minutes and washed out with shampoo or washed it out the next morning.
After rinsing, I typically air dry my hair. Hair felt moisturized and tangle free. I noticed my hair was not weighed down from the masque. It was not super glossy but when I ran my hands thru my hair it felt soft, smooth, and frizz free.
Overall, the Gloss Moderne Clean Luxury Masque is a REALLY nice hair mask. I absolutely LOVE the coconut scent. This mask is super concentrated so a little bit of product can go a long ways. This jar is pretty small so I use it sparingly on hair strands that need repairing. It leaves my bleach colored hair intensely conditioned. Hair feels soft, smooth, and looks healthy. The results are temporary, after a few days I need to mask again to keep hair feeling conditioned. It is very pricey especially for the amount you get. Knowing this, I am not sure if I would splurge at $65. There are other cruelty, vegan, and paraben free brands on the market roughly in the $35 range.
