First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream has been a holy grail in my skincare routine for many years. With daily use one tub can last about a year. It was also the very first product that I ever purchased from FAB which also led me me to try other products in their line.
Why is Ultra Repair Cream my holy grail? It provides intense relief to super dry skin. I treat this like a healing moisturizer for face, body, and hands. It soothes, hydrates, protects my skin from cracking, and has absolutely no scent. I use this on angry dry skin, irritated skin, post sunburn, and eczema itchy skin.
The key ingredients are: colloidal oatmeal (calms & relieves itchy irritated skin caused by eczema/other skin conditions), shea butter (essential fatty acids to moisturize & protect barrier), and allantoin (calm & soothe skin). Plus it is formulated with clean ingredients so I feel confident that I am not putting anything toxic onto my skin.
Whenever these go on sale I make sure to stock up on a few jars because they are rather pricey at full price. This is literally my last jar I’m working thru. You may notice my jar has the old sub name “intense therapy”, new version is “intense hydration”. Not completely sure if the ingredients are the same but from the appearance they appear to be the same.
Ultra Repair Cream has a thick creamy texture that feels very emollient on skin. My skin drinks it up immediately and I notice how comfortable it feels. A bit tacky at first but within minutes after everything is absorbed, no hint of grease or heavy feeling. I like that this cream has no scent and I can apply it all over my body. I also love using this to spot treat eczema prone areas. It truly relieves the itch so my skin can actually heal on its own.
I’m about to cry since I’m literally near the bottom of this tub and it’s the last jar in my stash. It will definitely be another repurchase for me. It is a multi-functional cream that works on many skin situations. The texture is quite emollient so you will not need to use too much. This would suit anyone, I highly recommend.
