I already use several products from Farmacy’s skincare line. Their products did not disappoint and they did not irritate my skin. With summer and warm weather coming up, I was looking to switch up my skincare routine with lightweight moisturizers. A while back I was kindly gifted with the Farmacy Honey Drop lightweight moisturizer. I had heard many good reviews on this. This was the perfect time to see how this moisturizer would perform and hold up to warm weather.

The outer packaging includes the brands story and mission printed on the inside. The product comes in a heavy weight clear glass jar with a magnetic wooden cap, similar to their honey potion mask. A metal spatula is included which you can place on the magnetic lid to ensure you won’t lose. I love how the product comes in a glass jar vs plastic jar. Plastic can over leach into the product over time which is not safe releasing toxins into the product. Anything that comes in a glass jar or bottle is double thumbs up for me.
The moisturizer is amazing! The texture is a gel to cream hybrid. It is mostly a water based gel containing cupuaçu butter beads. These beads are very tiny and visible in the cream. They are known to melt on to skin releasing long-lasting hydration while supporting skin’s moisture barrier. They are rich in hydrating fatty acids which help nourish and soften the skin.
The cream goes on my skin like gel and glides easily across my face. It feels lightweight and non-sticky. As soon as I spread the product, it quickly begins to melt. The beads soon get absorbed and disappear into my skin effortlessly. There is a natural scent that I can smell and appreciate there is no added fragrances.
I use this daily under my makeup and it leaves my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. I did not find my makeup sucking out all the moisture from my skin. My makeup did not slide off my face and I did not experience extra shine coming thru during warmer weather. I have normal to dry sensitive skin and did not experience any irritation from using this moisturizer.
Overall, I love how the Farmacy Honey Drop leaves my skin plump and glowing. Honey does wonders for our skin with their healing properties. It definitely feels lightweight and really nourishes my skin. The water based gel textures makes it very spreadable and absorbs quickly into skin. It applies nicely and keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day without my makeup sliding off. This is definitely a keeper in my summer skincare routine. If you have never tried this brand, I suggest investing in one of their kits which contain several small mini’s from their core skincare line so you get an idea of what their products are like versus having to commit to full size jar.
