Farmacy Green Clean cleansing balm is hands down a staple cleanser in my cleansing routine. If you have been following my blog then you know I am a huge fan of using oil based cleansing balms. I love the way balms feel on my skin and how they leave me super clean. I have normal to dry sensitive skin, with sensitive skin sometimes the slightest ingredient can make my skin irritated. For that reason I love using Farmacy’s products. I am a big believer of this brand. They have a beautiful brand story that drew me in. Their products are formulated with natural ingredients, free of toxins and chemicals. When our environment is bad it affects our skin & how we breathe. I applaud Farmacy for being conscious of our environment and being resourceful. Let’s get into the review.

Love Farmacy’s minimalistic packaging and how the box unfolds into a flat piece of paper showing the brand’s DNA story printed on the inside. Very clever marketing here. Green Clean comes in a recyclable plastic jar along with a little spatula to keep the cleanser hygienic. I totally appreciate the spatula for anything that has me digging my fingers into. I don’t ever want bacteria growing on my products.

I am all about SUSTAINABILITY and love it even more when a brand believes it too. Farmacy quoted,

We respect our planet, and we do our part to be environmentally responsible by partnering with organic farms that use sustainable methods, and packaging responsibly. Our packaging is made with FSC certified paper from well-managed forests, inks based on naturally renewable raw materials and our jars are all recyclable (just remember to peel off the label first!).

Green Clean has a soft solid sherbet like texture. It is light weight and feels very luxurious. Has a pleasant lime citrus scent that is not overpowering and not fragranced. I find the scent very refreshing & up lifting. A nickel size scoop is all I need to remove a face full of makeup. This balm literally melts away all my liquid eyeliner and stubborn eyelash glue from my lashes. No scrubbing is needed, just gentle massaging of the balm on my skin easily loosens up the makeup. Rinses away leaving no traces of makeup and no film. My face feels really soft and hydrated, no tightness at all.

The Green Clean balm is a bit on the pricey side but for the amount of product you get in this jar, you only need a tiny scoop with each use. This jar will last you with many washes so I think the value is good. This cleansing balm is very effective and does a great job. I have received this as a present from friends and I have purchased this many times. I’ve lost count on how many jars I’ve gone thru since it was introduced on the market. I’m a fan and will continue to re-purchase when I run out.
