As someone who has extra sensitive skin and would like to have smooth brighter skin I unfortunately cannot use chemical exfoliants. Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos is a serum that resurfaces skin by removing that top layer of dead skin. The results leave you smooth clear skin. With continued use it can help reduce pores, diminish fine lines & wrinkles and lighten dark spots.
TLC Framboos is a night serum containing 12% AHA/BHA blend that is formulated with glycolic, lactic, tartaric, citric, and salicylic acids, and blended with raspberry extract. To keep skin from drying out, Drunk Elephant added soothing plant extracts for an pH level of 3.8. If you are used to using strong AHAs you can handle this. For me, this is still a bit strong on my sensitive skin. There is a bit of tingling when applied directly onto skin.
Drunk Elephant recommends mixing this serum with Virgin Marula Facial Oil to maximize results. Mixing the serum with oil, Lala Retro, or Protini helps lessen the potency so my skin can handle the serum and take in the benefits. This bottle will last me for a long time since a little bit of product goes a long ways. All of their products work well with each other and contains clean ingredients
Since using this, I have noticed changes in my skin. Smaller pores, smoother, and clearer skin. My complexion looks more even and my makeup goes on flawlessly. I like using this serum at night. It is not sticky and absorbs fairly quickly. I also use this to spot treat eczema dark spots. It does a great job of removing that layer of discolored skin. Some spots disappeared sooner than others with everyday use.
My only downside is the price. I try to purchase the mini sizes that come in value sets or travel sizes containing TLC Framboos. Definitely recommend for others to use.
Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos is available at Sephora, Drunk Elephant | $90USD, 1.0 oz
What are your favorite Drunk Elephant products? Do you use AHAs/BHAs? All opinions are my own.
