Drunk Elephant E-Rase Milki Micellar Water is a multitasking product that removes dirt and makeup as a face cleanser but you can also use it like a face refresher in between cleansing with no rinsing needed. That means the moisturizing ingredients and ceramides will get fully absorbed into your skin. Micellar water can be an great option for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin.
E-Rase Milki is formulated with ultra-mild micelles, a blend of ceramides, vitamin E, replenishing fatty acids, and several antioxidant-rich plant based oils such as marula, wild melon seed, sweet almond, & passion fruit. This unique combination helps cleanse your skin while the barrier is being supported, soothed, and moisturized.

Most people including myself have used micellar water for cleansing and it typically looks like a bottle of clear water. E-Rase Milki is very different, it has a milky texture that looks similar to a thick serum/essence for deep hydration. Packaged in either a mini 3.3oz/ 100mL or standard 8oz/ 240mL plastic bottle and is fragrance-free. You can pour directly into your hands or onto cotton or reusable pads then swipe on face.
My daily makeup removal routine is double cleansing, oil first then cream/gel second. I wear a full face of makeup and this takes alot of product to get all the makeup off which I’m not happy about. However, if I use this as my second cleanse it picks up everything else that got missed with the oil based cleanser while making my skin feel soothed and hydrated.
I actually prefer using E-Rase Milki in my morning routine. Since my skin was already cleansed and layered with serums + moisturizers the night before, I use this as a quick cleanse to refresh skin. This removes any excess oils, plumps, and basically wakes up my face. I do feel that it leaves a slight residue on my skin so even though it says no rinse, I still like to splash my face with a little bit of water and pat dry with a towel.
Overall it is a good product and gentle on sensitive skin. It was nice to use but not sure if I would consider it an essential in my routine. More suitable to use during travel when I carry less skincare products.
