On weekends when I’m out running errands I wear minimal makeup to let my skin breathe. I like to use Drunk Elephant’s D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops. I have an older version of this when it was named Serum. This is literally instant sunshine in a bottle. The fact that it is formulated as a skincare serum is a game changer for me. I can mix this with any of my DE skincare products or other non-DE products.
This serum is formulated to boost skin’s defense in dealing with today’s environmental pollutants. D-Bronzi creates a barrier on the skin using antioxidants, peptides, vitamins, and fatty acids. You get the skincare benefits plus the natural glow without the damaging effects from the sun.
This serum is NOT meant to be used on it’s own. It is very concentrated so you need to mix it with something else (i.e moisturizer, serum, oil, sunscreen, foundation). If you have fair skin like me, go easy on the drops the first time around till you get the desired color. It gives my skin just enough glow and more importantly evened out my skin tone.
One drop mixed with one pump of Protini + one pump of B-Hydra is enough to cover my face and neck. The finish is more of a sheer formula, which is what I prefer since my complexion does not have blemishes. However, if you have problem skin just note it will not cover blemishes. This mainly provides your skin with a natural radiant glow.
The packaging is very cute. Comes in a 1 oz tube with a pump that lets me control how many droplets I can pump out. It’s travel friendly, under the TSA 3.4 oz requirement for carry-one luggage! You can bet that I will be taking D-Bronzi with me when I go on vacation next month and mixing it with sunscreen. When my face gets tanned I won’t really need to wear much foundation. I can just use this serum mixed with other DE moisturizers for a healthy vacation glow.
