Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum is a permanent staple in my skincare routine. I cannot tell you how many times I have re-purchased this bottle. It provides my skin with the right amount of hydration and moisture without being oily and is fragrance free. Skin feels plump and refreshing with every use.

I’m not too thrilled with the bulky plastic packaging but can appreciate the serum contained in an double inner vacuum sealed bottle with a pump. I hope DE can revisit the design, there are new vacuum sealed bottles with pumps on the market that are much lighter and can do what a double vacuum chamber does. The packaging makes it hard to travel with via TSA security, so I am only able to bring the mini sizes with me on the plane. Thank goodness for their value sets.

It feels good to know that I am applying clean ingredients on my skin. DE does a good job at being transparent about what they put into their skincare. This serum is formulated with pro-vitamin B5, pineapple ceramide, and lentil/apple/watermelon complex. All this goodness to combat dryness and deliver hydration.

My skin has never felt so good until I started using this serum. The gel texture sinks into my skin immediately and absorbs quickly leaving skin dewy. It’s super hydrating and lightweight with a cooling effect. With two pumps of this serum in the morning, it evens out my skin tone and reduces all areas where I have dryness. Layers well underneath primer + spf + makeup without pilling. That’s 3 additional layers of product on top of this serum.

On days when I want a natural dewy look, I mix this with foundation and it gives me the perfect no makeup look yet providing skin with some coverage. Adding a shot of this serum to other DE products to alleviate dryness or calm skin works even better. Their products work well with each other without the fear of triggering any skin reaction. Keep in mind as with any serum and you will need to use a moisturizer on top.

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum is available at Sephora and Drunk Elephant.
