Dear Klairs Fundamental Ampule Mist is packaged in a 125mL / 4.22 fl. oz. transparent plastic spray bottle. Very watery consistency. No shaking needed (no oils). Spray can be a little aggressive or droplets are not as fine so I usually spray directly into my hands or hold the bottle really far from my face avoiding my eyes. This mist is fragrance free however it does have a light natural fresh botanical scent
I am a big fan of using face mist and prefer using this mist more as a toner than as a mid-day mist or makeup refresher (I have other mists for that). As a toner it is very hydrating which is what I really like about this product and it’s the first thing I put on my face right after double cleansing. I spray into the palm of my hands and pat all over face. Leaves a slight tacky feeling and then turns into a dewy finish.
It is hydrating, soothing, and gives me a healthy looking complexion. I know a mist is just what people call “expensive water” but I think it’s essential in prepping skin before applying the rest of your skincare routine. Re-balances skin due to all the nutrient rich ingredients and helps my skincare products absorb into skin better. It also works great for a quick skin refresh during the day if skin feels dry and reduces a powdery finish effect if makeup looks too chalky.
