Time to talk about ColourPop! The brand is a cult-favorite and has been all over social media in the last few years. I am a big fan and own a number of their single eyeshadows and pallets in my collection. The brand has even launched at Sephora last year. With affordable prices, mix and match bundles, great quality, and no animal testing, what’s not to love!

The Lippie Stix’s come in four finishes which I will only be speaking to two today. I have BOUND which is a Creme light nude pink shade and POPPIN a Matte X vibrant raspberry shade. I consider these two, my go to year round staple shades that are universal to match any look or any outfit I am wearing if I didn’t have a particular look I was aiming for that day. BOUND is really creamy and melts easily onto my lips, but I have to be extra careful when I am applying near the edges as the product can easily slide outside the lip lines. I wear alot of red’s at work and absolutely love this raspberry shade from POPPIN. Dries down to a matte finish that has a silky velvety feel and does not make my lips look dry or crackly. I can’t wait to try more colors from the matte collection!

I like the slim design of the tube packaging, just note the actual product inside the tube is even slimmer. Being slim with a slanted tip makes it easier to apply and you have more control on lining your lips if you are not using an actual lip liner pencil to line. The packaging being white makes it look minimalistic however it gets dirty easily. Plus, after applying to the lips, product does smear around the tip of the tube. It doesn’t really bother me much as I simply get a tissue and wipe off the excess around the tip.

The pigmentation is amazing. Color is quite opaque with just two full swipes on the lip. Very creamy which allows it to glide easily on lips leaving no patchy spots. I could also use a lip brush to apply as well if I did not want too much product depositing on my lips vs applying directly from the tube. I use a light lip balm underneath just so the lipstick does not settle into the lip lines. They are long wearing and do not dry or flake on lips. Even with eating and drinking, re-touching is pretty minimal but not transfer proof. Although, I use a lip pencil to line my lips to get that crisp line, you can get away without lining as these have minimal feathering or by using a lip brush to line first then fill in.

Overall, both ColourPop Lippie Stix’s have great color payoff, pigmented, richly hydrating on the lips and very affordable.
