Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are growing on me. Her brand had been out for years and it was only last year that I started wearing her lipsticks. I currently own two lipsticks, one each from the matte revolution collection and k.i.s.s.i.n.g collection. I had tried samples and read a lot of reviews before deciding to splurged on them.

The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and feels luxe. I love the rose gold colors which matches the rest of her makeup collection. It’s honestly the most instagrammable packaging in my opinion.

Pillow Talk is a pinky nude shade which may also look a bit mauve. It is part of the matte revolution collection and also has a lip pencil in the same shade. I tend to gravitate towards these types of shades for my everyday lip color. I started using Pillow Talk last year and bought my second tube this year. I rarely finish any lipstick tube from any brand with the exception of Charlotte Tilbury. It was my daily go to. The formula is super creamy, glides on smoothly, and color goes on opaque. Leaves a matte finish that is comfortable on my lips without any dryness. Pretty long lasting, minimal retouch after eating and drinking.

Coachella Coral is a soft coral shade from the k.i.s.s.i.n.g collection. This is my second Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in addition to pillow talk. I bought this shade over the summer for a pop of color and can work well through winter if I don’t feel like wearing red or berry shades. These apply effortlessly with just one swipe, very moisturizing, and has a soft creamy texture. Leaves a nice soft satin finish on lips. The formula is long wearing and will need some reapplication after eating and drinking. If I apply less with my fingers this can pass looking like a lip tint when I do not want a full lip.

Overall, these two work as my everyday shade and can compliment any makeup look easily. These shades are very wearable for any skin type in my opinion. The textures are smooth and the pigmentation is great. I hope to expand my collection with more shades. You can find similar shades from other brands that are much more affordable. Charlotte Tilbury is pricey, if you are willing to splurge go for it.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution and K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipsticks are available at Sephora, Nordstorm, Charlotte Tilbury, and other beauty retailers.
