Boscia Sake Bright White Mask is a fast easy way to brighten up and plump dull skin. It’s a great way to selfcare and relax after a long day. This peeling mask contains sake and sea fern algae extract which is mineral rich, hydrates, and reduces melanin production. I like how this comes in a easy to use squeeze tube where I am not dipping into a jar.
On freshly cleansed dry skin, apply a nice even thick layer while avoiding the hairline, brows, lips, and around the eye area. This paste is fluid enough to spread with finger tips without any tugging to skin. It goes from white to a cool pearly silver iridescent color. As the mask begins to dry down my face starts tightening up.
The peeling part can be fun or painful. I highly suggest not waiting for the mask to dry down completely because it will be difficult trying to get if off as it adheres too much to skin. The mask will peel off in bits rather than at one go. Plus if you have little baby facial hairs, you are going to experience a major ouch factor while peeling.
I start peeling the mask off at the 15-20 minute mark when the mask has slightly dried down. This way the mask peels off easily without any pain. Some of my baby facial hairs gets pulled out too but didn’t hurt. If you have a hard time peeling, I highly suggest splashing water on your face to remove. My face feels super soft, smooth, and refreshed with each use. Face looks so bright and evens skin tone immediately after peeling.
The brightening is only temporary after use however skin continues to be radiant and smooth. My face remained hydrated however no noticeable changes to diminish dark spots. I have sensitive skin and I have not experienced any irritation. Using a peel off mask is a great way to selfcare once a week.
