If you love using Korean skincare products, more than likely you are familiar with Amore Pacific, luxury skincare giant in Korea with many brands within their umbrella. This brand is no stranger to me, as I have been using their cushion compacts and a few of their skincare products for quite some time. I am impressed with the brand and the sleek minimal white packaging. Plus their products are gentle on my skin.
Today I am going to share with you two products from their skincare line, Treatment Enzyme Peel Cleansing Powder and Essential Creme Fluid. I am reviewing the deluxe sizes which were part of an Amore Pacific deluxe size set that I had gotten a long while ago thru the Sephora rewards program.
Treatment Enzyme Peel Cleansing Powder is a water-activated powder to foam deep cleansing exfoliator that removes dead skin cells and impurities without stripping moisture away from your skin. It is formulated with green tea derived enzymes to resurface skin while the papaya enzymes help with quick cell turnover.
I love a good exfoliator and I want flawless skin. Since this powder is water-activated I tend to use this in the shower. Once I’ve cleansed my skin, I pour a little bit of powder into my hands and add a few drops of water. Lathers up to a good amount of foam easily, followed by massaging onto my face for 1 to 2 minutes. I can feel it polishing the surface without being abrasive. A little goes a long ways. After rinsing, my face feels super smooth and bright! Feels amazing knowing anything else I apply to my skin will absorb much better.
Essential Creme Fluid is a instant hydrating lightweight moisturizer that penetrates deep into the skin. In the full size bottle, 150 baby green tea leaves are handpicked at Amore Pacific’s green tea gardens. A vital ingredient in revitalizing skin and retaining moisture.
It is very lightweight and the milky cream texture has a serum like viscosity. Spreads and absorbs beautifully into skin. It felt luxurious so I use this deluxe size sparingly even though I know I have a few more deluxe size bottles of this. It left my skin looking hydrated and radiant after application. This would be perfect to use as a daytime moisturizer and goes on well under makeup. Great to use during warm to hot weather. In the evening, I would need to layer another moisturizer on top or apply another thin layer of the essential creme fluid. Note, this does contain a bit of fragrance. It’s not overwhelming but Amore Pacific could leave it out.
I like using the creme fluid right after exfoliating with the enzyme peel cleansing powder. They are the perfect size to take with me when I go on travel. As much as I like these, the full size versions are quite expensive. Thankfully, Sephora offered an Amore Pacific deluxe size set thru their Beauty Insider rewards. I took advantage of those sets by redeeming several sets with my Sephora points. These sets should last me for a long while.
