Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream is my most reached for hair product on my lazy hair days when I want to minimize my hair routine. A big life saver when short on time. It’s basically a leave in hair treatment and styling cream that provides your hair with 10 different benefits.
The Caviar CC Cream claims to provide hair with moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, anti-breakage, heat protection, light hold, UV protection, manageability, and strength. From my experience I have noticed it repairing the damaged ends of my hair, smooths out frizz, and gives my hair a nice shine.
It is formulated with key ingredients such as caviar extract, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin c, and a unique blend of marine botanicals. All of this help to smooth, repair, and lock in moisture. Suitable for all hair types and colored hair. I have long thick straight hair with blonde colored streaks and never encountered any issues with this cream.
I have used this on both wet and clean dry hair. Some reviewers say this cream left them with weighed down heavy crunchy hair. That is true and I think it’s probably because they used too much product. I remember the first time I used this cream I experienced the same thing. However, after several more uses I got it down to how much I really need to avoid this messy disaster.
This is definitely not a cream where you apply big blobs onto hair. I typically use less than a dime size amount of product and run it thru the ends of my hair. Then give it good blow dry with the hairdryer. Leaves my hair super smooth, soft, shiny, and hydrated. Hair does not feel crunchy or weighed down. On dry hair it’s great on taming flyaways and frizz.
This stand up squeeze tube makes it super easy to use. You don’t need a ton of product on your hair so this tube will last for a very long time. A regular size tube lasts me for nearly a year. It also has a clean refreshing scent.
